These terms govern your use of this website and any order placed on it. The site is operated by Aadi Shankar Vedic Vidya Sansthan, S-313, Shakti Nagar, Indira Nagar, Lucknow — 226016, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Products
Every item is intended for traditional religious and ceremonial use. Descriptions of ritual practice on this site are a general introduction; where they differ from your śākhā, sampradāya or family tradition, your own paramparā is authoritative. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and no product is intended for internal consumption.
Photography
Product photographs are representative. Natural materials vary in shade and texture between batches, and a small variation from the photograph is normal and not a defect.
Pricing and availability
All prices are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We may change prices or withdraw a product at any time. If an item becomes unavailable after you order it, we will contact you and refund that item in full.
Orders
An order is an offer to buy. We may decline or cancel an order — with a full refund — where there is an obvious pricing error, where the delivery address cannot be serviced, or where we suspect fraud.
Payment
Online payments are processed by Razorpay. By paying you also accept Razorpay's terms. We do not store your card or UPI credentials at any point.
Intellectual property
The Samarpan name, the open-palms-and-lotus mark, all photography, and all text on this site belong to us. Please do not reproduce them commercially without written permission.
Liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for delays caused by couriers, weather, strikes or events beyond our reasonable control.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.
