Is the Yajñopavīta really made in the Gurukul?
Yes. It is hand-spun by brahmachārīs at Aadi Shankar Vedic Vidya Sansthan in Lucknow, under the supervision of the ācāryas there, at 96×4×2×3 aṅgula pramāṇa.
How many threads come in a pack?
Five Yajñopavīta per pack of ₹501, each individually presented.
Can I order for a temple or for an Upanayana ceremony?
Yes, and we would rather you told us in advance. Write to samarpan.asvv@gmail.com or call +91 8957056610 with the quantity and the date, and we will prepare it and quote a rate for that quantity.
What is in the Roli?
Haldi, prepared by the traditional method, with no synthetic dye, brightener or filler added. That is why its red is deep rather than fluorescent.
Does the Bhasm contain anything besides ash?
No filler and no perfume. It is milled fine and packed dry so that a tripuṇḍra takes cleanly.
Do you ship outside India?
Not yet. We ship across India only. If there is demand from your country, write to us and we will look into it.
Is cash on delivery available?
Yes, with a ₹39 handling fee. Prepaid orders above ₹999 ship free.
How do I track my parcel?
Use the Track Order page with your order number and the mobile number you ordered with. Once the courier picks the parcel up, live status appears there automatically.
